Someone Should Make an Opera about former Tyco CEO Kozlowski

In the spirit of reaching across the aisle bipartisanship I think people should compose more opera - and I suggest it should be about Kozlowski's evil wife as the evil villain. Admittedly, Pelosi never actually said unemployed Americans should spend more times composing opera, that anecdote was only extrapolated from Mark Steyn from Steyn, Mark. The [u]ndocumented Mark Steyn: Don't Say You Weren't Warned. , 2014. Print.

So what jobs will Americans get to do? We dignify the new age as “the knowledge economy,” although, to the casual observer, it doesn’t seem to require a lot of knowledge. One of the advantages of Obamacare, according to Nancy Pelosi, is that it will liberate the citizenry: “Think of an economy where people could be an artist or a photographer or a writer without worrying about keeping their day job in order to have health insurance.” It’s certainly true that employer-based health coverage distorts the job market, but what’s more likely in a world without work? A new golden age of American sculpture
and opera? Or millions more people who live vicariously through celebrity gossip and electronic diversions? One of the differences between government health care in America compared to, say, Sweden is the costs of obesity, heart disease, childhood diabetes, etc. In an ever more sedentary society where fewer and fewer have to get up to go to work in the morning, is it likely that those trends will diminish or increase?

Mrs. Kozlowski should be cast as Lady MacBeth, or possibly the Tory whore Peggy Shippen  who caused poor Benedict Arnold to become a traitor, as depicted in "Drunk History"

It's obvious old, fat bald headed guy Kozlowski

embezzled money from his company to woo his rather matronly looking lady friend

who then kicked him when he's down by divorcing him after he went to prison. Evil heifer.

From "American Greed" it's obvious Koslowski's money grubbing Tory whore wife only married him for his money and partied with him when he had it, and ditched him when he didn't:

Maremont: Find ammunition to let Tyco avoid paying Dennis a lot of money

Narrator: David Boies assembles a team of more than one hundred lawyers and accountants. Together, they pore through Tyco's accounts. What they find is nothing short of shocking.  Tens of millions of dollars have been pilfered from Tyco for Kozlowski's personal use.

Maremont: I just remmeber, uh,    hearing about these things and finding them out and just  saying, "That's amazing! You know, I can't believe that's true!" I mean, this can't be the same Dennis Kozlowski that I've known for seven or eight years. How could he have done that? [his evil Tory wife]

Narrator: Perhaps the most sensational example of Kozlowski's spending is a party on the Mediteranian island of Sardinia in the summer of 2001 where half of the $2.1 million   tab is paid for by Tyco .

Maremont: The second wife [Tory whore] Karen, was turning forty and he wants to throw a party for her. By all accounts he spent most of the summer  cruising around in this yacht, the Endeavour, over in Sardinia, so he has this big party for her.

[crowd sings "Happy Birthday to Kozlowski's Tory whore wife]

Maremont: Tyco secretarial party machine planned this lavish party for his wife in Sardinia

 Jimmy Buffet: Yes, it's me, let's rock!

Narrator:  Jimmy Buffet performs and collects a cool quarter of a million dollars.

Maremont: They had some what tasteless Gladiator looking guys, young women  dressed up in togas throwing rose petals in the pool . These guys with sort of oiled bodies posing like this on pedastals [strikes a muscle man pose]

Kozlowski: I felt bad, you know, I felt horrible about it, you know?  It was tacky. I felt that some of it was in bad taste but it was what it was. It was planned, you know, by somebody  who had a totally different sense of humor than I had, you know? I don't remmeber having a  particularly good time. I've been to better parties in my fraternity days in college.

Narrator: Though the $2.1 million  birthday party is sensational, it's small potatoes compared to the rest of Kozlowski's questionable spending

Narrator: Now that Kozlowski is behind bars even his critics are left wondering if the punishment fits the crime.

Newsweek Deniel Gross : I think that's a pretty harsh sentence compared with other white collar crime that we saw in the 1990s. This company [ Tyco ] did not go bankrupt. The employees did not lose all of their 401Ks as happened in Worldcomm. It's still a going concern. He obviously crossed several lines and paid the price, being convicted lose a lot of his assets. You know I think upon further reflection,  it does seem like a pretty long sentence.

Narrator: When asked what he'd do differently with  life, Kozlowski denies doing anything wrong.

Kozlowski: I don't know what I wish I do know I can't go back anything. I do wish I had better documentation . I do wish I had more seasoned people running the compensation system at Tyco.

Narrator: One week after this interview, Kozlowski's appeal for a new trial was denied.

Kozlowski: I've read anybody's autobiography from Che Guevara to Ronald Reagan, so the gamut of virtually of anybody out there.

Narrator:  Karen Kozlowski filed for divorce a year after her husband's conviction [Tory whore].

From "60 Minutes"

From March 22, 2007 Dennis Kozlowski: Prisoner 05A4820 : Morley Safer Speaks With The Ex-Tyco Chief Behind Bars

And then there was the 40th birthday party for Kozlowski's wife Karen on Sardinia. It was togas galore, a four day festival of flesh. Jimmy Buffett was flown in for the music and guests were treated to a special cake: an anatomically correct woman with exploding breasts.
The cost of the party was over $2 million; since Kozlowski claimed it was in part a work retreat, Tyco footed half the bill.
During the trial, jurors were shown a tape of the party. Kozlowski says it was "absolutely horrible."
"It was over the top, you know. I was taken aback by it, but I smiled and worked my through it, wanted the night to end as fast as I could," he recalls.
"Donald Trump called your behavior tacky," Safer remarks.
"Tacky? Tacky from Donald Trump?" Kozlowski replies. "Wow. But he would know."
Those excesses may have been tacky, but tacky doesn't send you to jail. Far more serious was the allegation that Kozlowski literally stole money from Tyco.
He and his second-in-command Mark Swartz were charged with stealing $170 million and pocketing an additional $430 million through the sale of company stock, while lying about Tyco's financial condition.

This is a classic story of the Prodigal Son, who had lots of fair weather "friends" as long as he had money to spend, but ended up alone, living in a pig sty when he lost all his money. Again, Kozlowski's wife was an evil, money grubbing Tory whore  heifer.

In the meantime, he spends much of his time in prison focused on his appeal. He can receive visitors on the weekends, but he says he has few friends left.
"In the final analysis, most of the people were close to you because of your power and your wealth?" Safer asks.
"That's correct. And they wanted to share in that. That was probably 90 percent of the people in my life," Kozlowski says.
And it is not just his friends who have left him – he and his wife Karen are divorcing.
Asked if the marriage was all about money, Kozlowski says, "Morley, we're in the middle of a divorce and agreement. I'm not going to say anything about that, you know, at this time."

@NancyPelosi vs @heinzawards

Nancy Pelosi smeared Republicans by blathering to the effect that we wish to infect everyone with E.Coli bacteria.

Republicans have been on the forefront of both cleanliness and godliness ever since our party's founding. George Templeton Strong helped to establish the US Sanitary Commission, to counter the filthy Democrats during the Civil War:

George Strong served for many years as a vestryman at Trinity Church in New York. He helped found the United States Sanitary Commission, which helped ameliorate the horrible sufferings of wounded soldiers during the American Civil War. He was also treasurer and member of its executive committee throughout the war. He also helped to start the Union League Club of New York, an organization which pledged to "cultivate a profound national devotion." The organization provided a means to reconciling the whites and blacks of the South into the Republican Party. Strong funded a Union regiment during the war, and his wife served on a hospital ship.

In the 20th Century, Sen John Heinz (R-PA) was a wonderful statesman and honorable man:

Art lover, champion of the elderly and protector of the environment, Senator Heinz was the first heir of the vast H.J. Heinz Company to break from family tradition and enter politics. He wanted to help people. As his wife Teresa has said: "He had a rare gift for seeing the world in bright shades, and an even more uncommon gift for finding ways to share that vision with those for whom life had become cast in shades of hopeless grey. Through the prism of our nation, he saw a rainbow of hope and opportunity."

John Heinz brought that hope with him wherever he went. Blessed with an appeal and charisma that crossed party lines, Senator Heinz, a Republican, was extremely popular with Democrats. He was the first Republican to carry every ward of the city of Pittsburgh during his 1976 Senatorial campaign. People valued his desire for change and his respect for human dignity and believed his guiding principle which was "the status quo is unacceptable."

Sen Heinz was heir to the eponymous ketchup company and, as CNBC points out in their biography, his ancestors were vanguards for producing pure food, which is why they insisted on using clear glass bottles, and promoting pure food legislation:

I suppose partisan Pelosi would further be upset about the Horatio Alger story of Heinz's founding.  The only person who seems to enjoy spreading "malarkey" around is Pelosi, herself, in typical psychological projection mode.

"I do not hate you. You're projecting"

"ACA Mandate Wasn't a Progressive Idea"

Libs have tried to employ Jedi mind tricks to convince Conservatives to accept Obamacare/ACA's mandate by citing its purported pedigree from the Heritage foundation:

The mandate is fundamentally a conservative idea – it was originated by The Heritage Foundation, the premier conservative think tank. The reason the Republicans are against it now is not policy, but politics: their need to defeat President Obama.

Tea Partiers don't care if Obamacare originated from people wearing red ties or blue ties; with Rs or Ds or LMNOPs after their names; and don't care what type of mammal they choose as their mascot. We don't want our elected representatives to pass laws to find out what's in them, as per Nancy Pelosi, and don't appreciate having legislation driven down our throats, as per the DNC's labor union comrades:

“Without Nancy Pelosi health care wouldn’t have happened…We stuck together and we got a historic victory and drove it down the Republican’s throat and out their backsides”

Tea Partiers don't appreciate spineless RINOs who go along to get along just to keep their parking spaces and perquisites. Tea Partiers want representatives who believe in the US Constitution and desire to protect  individual liberty and freedom. Finally, Tea Partiers are incensed at elected officials, regardless of party affiliation, who abuse their public office for private gain.

Fast and Furious vs DNC Name Calling

In the process of Spring cleaning, I was sifting through cardboard boxes of books, deciding which to keep &; which to donate to the public library fundraising sale when I came across a dilapidated copy of John K. Brilhart's Effective Group Discussion. Whilst skimming the text, I read some salient sections germane to Democrat responses to Rep Issa's investigation into what is variably described as a failed gun sting operation by centrists; an irrational witch hunt by Rep Nancy Pelosi (who, presumably, takes such actions personally); or a Federal frame up job of law abiding US gun dealers in order to undermine the 2nd Amendment, according to the NRA.

STIGMA WORDS AND NAME CALLING

A stigma word is one used by the speaker or perceived by the listener to indicate a negative evaluation of the referent. Even though the speaker may not intend to stigmatize [ha!], the important thing to the listener is that he hears a stigmatizing term [...] In the blanks may go any word or phrase used to label something strongly disliked or feared, and for which the reposndent as a highly unpleasant connotation: communism, fascism, federal control, racism [or, more precisely, RACISM!!!], childishness, chauvinism, or other words used in derogation. The speaker has now been identified with something ugly or fearful. He may stop cold [if he's Chief Justice Roberts], deny and argue, or call the speaker some name [...] The goal is forgotten, harmony is lost, feelings are hurt, and members lose face [pretty much the goal of any DNC deny, distract, destroy Alinskyite plan] [...] All of this points to the importance of trying to develop group norms against the use of stigma terms [good luck with that against Nancy "Witch Hunt" Pelosi], and an objective examination of all evidence and points of view [good luck with getting around executive privilege].

Nancy Pelosi = which fictional villain?

The concern trolls created a kerfuffle over an RNC anti-Pelosi ad that's allegedly sexist.

To allay the Huff & Puff/Kos Kids concern trolls, the RNC pulled the ad. In so doing, I believe that the GOP made a tactical error (what else is new?). Now, people can't watch it and independently arrive at their own conclusions. However, critics of the video have not and will not delete their negative remarks which will remain in the ether for election cycles to come. Hence, having no other reference points, people will be led to imagine that the GOP portrayed Pelosi as a giant tap dancing vagina, or some such. If the GOP had just left the video up, its content couldn't possibly be worse than what Obots twisted imaginations will dream up.

Conversely, Harry Reid called George W. Bush's mother a bitch , which resulted in an obligatory cascade of "Ya Momma" jokes directed @ Harry Reid's fat, ugly , stupid, slutty mother. However, rather than linking arms in solidarity to denounce this overt expression of sexism, the aforementioned leftist concern trolls magically morphed into chirping crickets. It's almost as if there is a double standard applied to the GOP versus Dems. Imagine...

This all begs the question: "Which fictional villain best embodies Nancy Pelosi's vile nature?" The, choices, off the top of my head:

* Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch of the West
* James Bond's Pussy Galore
* Snow White's Evil Queen
* Narnia's Evil Queen
* Shakespeare's Lady MacBeth
* Tale of Two Cities' Madame Defarge
* Mary Poppins' repressed ID: "Scary Mary"

I posted the poll at the top of the right hand column. Follow ACORN's example: vote early and vote often & feel free to post any write-in options in the comment section.

UPDATE I

I always thought that US News & World Report was a right of center publication, but I suppose they've drunken the Kool Aid, as well, & have become card carrying members of the Obamaganda cult.

UPDATE II

The New Agenda people who complained about the Pelosi ads also complained about how Letterman treated Palin, so I suppose they are making an attempt to be bi-partisan in their defense of unfair attacks against women, so I took down my poll early. The Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch of the West was leading in the votes fwiw.

Nancy Pelosi = White Witch

Barbara Kellerman presciently channeled Nancy Pelosi in her 1988 performance for the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Both Nancy and the White Witch are secular humanists who wish to outlaw all celebration of Christmas. They are simpatico with the Ottoman Empire and Turkish Delight. The are both anti-human and pro-wolf.

Maybe you can get Nancy Pelosi to pass a law that requires wolves to eat only Kibbles. Can’t the wolves and caribou just get along?

They both use mutant unicorns to advance their careers. They both share the make-up artist with Batman's Joker:

5:55-6:15 clearly delineates the socialist mindset:

"What is the meaning of all this gluttony?! This waste?! This self-indulgence?! Where did you get all these things?!"

Dems compare Steele to a baboon

The left went into a state of apoplexy when an editorial cartoonist compared Nancy Pelosi to a chimpanzee, but, apparently feel that it's acceptable to compare RNC Chairman Steele to a baboon & then proceed to lobby against the first amendment right to free speech:

I have said this before and I will say it again. Michael Steele doesn't have the sense God gave a baboon.This man seriously needs to take a class in politcal correctiveness. He doesn't have a clue. This is what you get GOP for having a face man out there representing you supposedly.

Oh I forgot that is Rush isn't it? Let see what he has to say on the matter. Please! Michael Steele needs to go somewhere and sit down and shut up. Every time he opens his mouth his credibility keeps going in the negative direction.

Perhaps Obama is an evil genius

Perhaps Obama openly dissed the Brits as an oblique way of courting the French & an attempt to reintroduce our prodigal sister republic back into the NATO fold. It could all be high stakes kabuki theater.

Conversely, like Nancy Pelosi's cat cam, it could all just be plain kooky.

The current consensus on the NY Daily News poll, wrt Nancy's video, is that it makes her look like a crazy cat lady:
