Dems compare Steele to a baboon

The left went into a state of apoplexy when an editorial cartoonist compared Nancy Pelosi to a chimpanzee, but, apparently feel that it's acceptable to compare RNC Chairman Steele to a baboon & then proceed to lobby against the first amendment right to free speech:

I have said this before and I will say it again. Michael Steele doesn't have the sense God gave a baboon.This man seriously needs to take a class in politcal correctiveness. He doesn't have a clue. This is what you get GOP for having a face man out there representing you supposedly.

Oh I forgot that is Rush isn't it? Let see what he has to say on the matter. Please! Michael Steele needs to go somewhere and sit down and shut up. Every time he opens his mouth his credibility keeps going in the negative direction.

Limbaugh never said: "God damn America"

Limbaugh has never wished the US ill, and he has never blamed the Jews for any of the world's problems. Democrats, rather than Republicans, tend to sound like Nazis redux.

As far as God's country goes, Europeans discovered it and give it life even today. Were it left to its own resources, it would soon return once more to desert and prairie, as wide and as empty as the souls of its people.

For Steele, is the medium the message?

Our department is interviewing for a professor slot. Two of the candidates possess diametrically opposed teaching theories. One advocates that content competency versus pedagogy makes a better instructor. The other advocates the exact opposite: it's not what you teach, but how you teach it. Not to be wishy washy, but I would advocate that it takes competency in both to be a successful instructor.

Similarly, Steele promoted himself as a suave spokesperson for the RNC who was hip to modern media and communication venues. He might be handy with the cell phone, but what message is he communicating? It doesn't appear to be a conservative one. When the Democrats were out of power, they didn't act congenial and obsequious when being interviewed. They frequently didn't even have rational counter proposals. They went on the attack and didn't let up.

I appreciate that some PUMAs find Limbaugh off-putting, especially since he employs the term "femi-nazis" rather liberally. There is surely a subtle way to triangulate the two positions, an example at Socrates' Academy or yet another, besides nodding in agreement when a Democrat calls your party German Nazis redux.
