Saints Who Were Devoted to Saint Joseph
One day little Peter Eymard disappeared from home, only to be discovered at church, standing on a stool ๐ช leaning on the tabernacle. "It's because I listen, & I hear him better up here," he explained. Peter became a priest & entered the Marist order.

During a Corpus Christi procession, he became overwhelmed by the love flowing from Christ
& was filled with a consuming desire to "preach nothing but Jesus Christ, & Jesus Christ Eucharistic."
Following this call, he left the Marists to establish a religious congregation with a specifically Eucharistic rule, approved by Pope Pius IX. An eloquent preacher, he encouraged frequent visits to the Blessed Sacrament.

"After entering [a church], remain at rest a moment
Silence
is the greatest sign of respect, & respect is the first disposition to bring to prayer."
Peter was also deeply devoted to Saint Joseph . He wrote
"Devotion to Saint Joseph is one of the choices graces that God can give to a soul....When God wishes to raise a soul to greater heights, he unites it to Saint Joseph by giving it a strong love for the good saint."
