๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ Saint Helen Feast: 18 August

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ Saint Helen
Queen (✝️ c 330 Anno Domini A.D. )                     Feast: 18 August

Helen was a Turkish commoner (& probably not a British princess). She became Empress of Rome ๐Ÿ‘ธ At first, she was not a Christian. But she was a good woman. So soon Our Lord gave her the gift of faith. Her strongest son was named Constantine . He was a pagan, too.

But when Constantine saw his Mother become a Christian , he started thinking. When Helen was 80 years old, she went to Jerusalem ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ She wanted to find the Cross on which Our Lord died. She found 3 crosses buried in Mount Calvary. But when the Cross of Our Lord touched a very sick woman, at once the woman was cured ๐Ÿค’ :jesus: ๐Ÿ˜€ Later, Helen's son was fighting his strongest enemy. He remembered the Cross his Mother loved ๐Ÿ’— He promised to become a Christian if he won.

Constantine did win. And the Cross ✝️ became the sign of victory for all the world. So St. Helen by her prayers ๐Ÿ™ & example made her son, Constantine , the first Christian ruler of the world.
