It would be refreshing if the GOP became the party of fiscal conservatism

Democrats have controlled both houses of Congress since 2006 and thus are responsible for bills emanating thence. Ergo, the Democratic media attempts to blame (or credit, depending on one's POV) Republicans for the bank bail out & cancelling the UAW bailout don't wash. Democrats, who are in the majority, are responsible for both.

The Bush administration's alleged support for the UAW bailout purportedly so they don't go down in history as Hoover II is completely illogical since having Democrats switch from calling him Bu$hHitler to Bu$hHoover would be an improvement.
