#Nobama2012 < Dear Leader Ogg

I agree with John Sununu that Obama should "learn how to be an American."

or, more specifically, "learn the American formula for creating business," which, according to the Martians in the above cartoon is:

Freedom + Energy = Destination Unlimited!

Or, as the Martian Ayn Rand states:

More Competition = More for All!

Instead, Dear Leader Obama seems to act like the Martian dictator, Dear Leader Ogg with his inefficient Oggmobile that just catches fires and kills his subjects, much like the Obamabile Volt.

Unlike his earthling counterpart, Dear Leader Ogg doesn't seem concerned about Martian made Global Warming, even though Mars' planetary temperatures are actually increasing, presumably due to solar output fluctuations versus internal combustion engines. Conversely, Dear Leader Obama is spending millions of US taxpayer dollars outsourcing the previously described un-outsourceable:

President Obama promotes federal subsidies for the renewable energy industry, saying they will create “the jobs of the future, jobs that pay well and can’t be outsourced.”

green jobs overseas. Hence, Dear Leader Obama's un-outsourceable green jobs seem similar to non-shovel-ready jobs that he joked about.

However, if Dear Leader Obama only cared about Global Warming versus social justice redistribution, it seems odd that he's giving US taxpayer dollars to drill for oil in Brazil and promising the US will be Brazil's biggest customer whilst attempting to place a moratorium on domestic drilling at home. Hence, we might be better off voting for Ogg over Obama, since not only is Ogg a leader, but a friend and crusader.

If you think they hate us now, wait till we stop buying their oil

"If you think they hate us now, wait till we stop buying their oil" is bullet point # 11 on Uncle Jay's list:

Most Americans support the idea of reducing US dependence on foreign oil. Republicans supported not only drill, baby, drill, but diversifying into established technology (nuclear, wind, solar) as well as investing in research for advanced renewable with the objective of increasing US national security. Democrats just seem to support shutting down coal plants & letting the elderly freeze to death with the objective of currying favor at the UN.

Uncle Jay points out the law of unintended consequences. Current oil exporters are not happy with proposed alternatives to petroleum, either for purported religious reasons, or, more than likely, Realpolitik & Machiavellian reasons.
