Sarah Palin online poll

There seems to be a direct correlation between people who self identify as Republicans & people who wish Sarah Palin to do well on this online poll. However, Palin is also garnering support either with people who self identify as independents &/or Democrats. Not to give people ideas, but the Kos Kids could obviously skew the results of the poll by applying to standard wolf in sheep's clothing technique of pretending to be Republicans & voting against Palin.

Republican March Madness: Round II

You can vote in Round 2 of NPR's Republican March Madness. Currently, Palin is beating Pence; Ron Paul is beating Romney (?); and Jindal is barely beating Crist.

Republican March Madness

Whilst a college basketball coach chastises Obama for wasting time filling out an NCAA bracket form versus focusing like a laser on fixing the US economy, NPR spoofs the NCAA with its March Madness: The 2012 Republican Primaries They've pitted Sarah Palin against Michael Steele and she's currently winning 85% to 14%:

Palin v. Obama on Special Olympics

Whilst Palin exudes class:

Obama exudes crass:

President Obama, in his taping with Jay Leno Thursday afternoon, attempted to yuk it up with the funnyman, and ended up insulting the disabled.

Palin > Wolves

The US National Park Service is whining about Alaska's wolf control program.

This is the same National Park Service that wants to hijack the Flight 93 Memorial & turn it into a "Crescent of Embrace" homage to the terrorists.

The caribou population is inversely proportional to the wolf population. As the Defenders of Wild Food aptly point out, there are people who depend upon the caribou they hunt.

Noemie Emery points out that while Palin is managing wildlife & balancing budgets in Alaska, the Palinphobes are having second & third thoughts about their votes last November.

Palin ≠ Torquemada

A perennial Palin smear that won't abate is the general stereotype that she is a religious bigot who wishes to install a totalitarian theocracy, as illustrated by Chris Buckley's attack on McCain's running-mate:

who nominated as his running mate a know-nothing religious extremist

There is not a single documented case where Palin ever discriminated against anyone based on their religious beliefs. Conversely, it it patently obvious that Buckley stereotyped, prejudged, and discriminated against Palin because she belongs to one of those store front churches with folding chairs versus nominally belonging to a denomination with Gothic cathedrals and mahogany pews, such as Buckley does. Buckley is simply projecting his hatred and bigotry onto others.

The left, and the trust fund Republicans, create an illogical syllogism:

(1) Palin is a theocrat
(2) Theocrats are bad
(3) Therefore, Palin is bad

Their premise (1) is false leading to the erroneous conclusion (3).

A subset stereotype is that Palin opposes safe sex education in school, which is patently false, as she has clearly stated:

"I’m pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I am not anti-contraception. But, yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don’t have a problem with that. That doesn’t scare me, so it’s something I would support also."

The National Review points out the absurdity of the left wing attack machines and their fallacious conclusions:

Quick, can someone check: Didn't Bristol have contraceptive sex-education in her high school? Does that prove contraceptive education caused her pregnancy?

The evil flying monkeys in the MSM would serve this democracy better if they became proficient at reporting the facts versus simply creating straw men arguments and knocking them down.

Katie Couric is Special

From the National Review:

The "special achievement" for creating a Palin feeding frenzy came from the judges of the Walter Cronkite Awards for Excellence in Television Political Journalism, put together by the Norman Lear Center at USC's Annenberg School for Communication. Which part of that sounds more insular? That the award is named for the guy who introduces her every night? Or that it comes from Norman Lear?

Well, Norman's long lost cousin, Timothy, advocated using LSD, which is an anagram for LDS (Leftist Derangement Syndrome), so it all makes perfect sense.

Sarah Palin at the Iditarod

"This is what puts Alaska on the map,” Palin said. “This is a uniquely Alaskan event. We’re just so proud of this race every year.”

B is for bonehead & bonehead stands for Brooks & Buckley

Even though state school Sarah Palin, plebeian Joe the Plumber, and ESL Tito the Builder could all figure out that Barack "Spread the Wealth Around" Obama was a Socialist, primarily because Obama point blank said that he was, in fact, a socialist in his memoir:

In college, “I chose my friends carefully,” he said in his first book, Dreams From My Father.

These friends included “Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk rock performance poets” — in Obama’s own words — as well as the “more politically active black students.” He later visited a former member of the terrorist Weatherman Underground, who endorsed him when he ran for state senator.

the Ivy League RINO brigade ended up lost at a sea without a shroud.

Did Buckley and Brooks just vote for Obama because their names all contain the letter "B"? Was that the level of their analysis?

"Narcissism beyond Gestalt and awareness: the name letter effect"

Mere belongingness to self is tested as a sufficient condition for the enhancement of the attractiveness of visual letter stimuli. Experimental evidence is presented that, independent of visual, acoustical, aesthetic, semantic and frequency characteristics, letters belonging to own first and/or family name are preferred above not-own name letters. The effect is obtained in the absence of awareness of the Gestalt of any name, thus challenging current understanding of fundamental affective processes

"Name Letter Preferences Are Not Merely Mere Exposure: Implicit Egotism as Self-Regulation"
People prefer the letters in their own names to letters that are not in their own names. Furthermore, people prefer the numbers in their own birthdays to numbers not in their own birthdays. In this article we argue that these examples of implicit egotism are best conceptualized as the product of unconscious self-regulation processes rather than a result of mere exposure.

"Implicit Self-Esteem in Japan: Name Letters and Birthday Numbers"

In two studies, the authors attempted an implicit assessment of positive feelings attached to Japanese selves and found evidence for such feelings. Study 1 examined preference for Japanese alphabetical letters and found that letters included in one's own name were significantly better liked than the remaining ones. Further, an especially strong preference was expressed by male respondents for the first letters of their family names, and by female respondents for the first letters of their first names

Well, bonehead also contains the letter "B", as does Benedict Arnold, Bolshevik, and backstabber.

Chris Matthews shares an "H""I""S""M""A" with Barack Hussein Obama, as well as an "C" & "S" with Bosco, so perhaps he gets a tingle up both of his legs when he watches this politically incorrect historical Sesame Street clip on the letter "B":

It's a good thing Palin controls wolves

It's a good thing that Palin controls the wolf population, either with or without aerial assault weapons &/or killer rabbits:

According to a new study , wolves spend an inordinate time marking their territory with fecal matter.

Sarah Palin lied, children cried

Debbie Schlussel is unhappy about Palin’s choice of children’s names. Apparently, only the PUMAs are courageous enough to apply the same scrutiny to Obama’s equally non-traditional choice of children’s names. However, they still don’t view odd kids’ names as the reason not to vote for a candidate.

"Why Sarah Palin Is So Freaking Awesome"

Inspired by a critique from IMAO the http://whysarahpalinissofreakingawesome.blogspot.com/ website was established in order to better mock liberal Palin attackers. Below is my contribution to praising Palin's wolf control program, encouraging Palin to ride in an intergalactic spaceship and cull wolves around the solar system:

Additionally, it is a little known fact that Sarah Palin traveled in a Tardis time machine and is personally responsible for the extinction of the Woolly Mammoth:

Turkeys=food

From the vaults of the Mr. Obvious Show, and not to destroy the suspense, the patient host of the radio program points out to the seemingly befuddled caller that one must kill a turkey before one tries to cook it in an oven, unless you are a po faced erstwhile PETA supporting tofurkey eater :

From the Presidential archive, pointing out the facts of life to pardoned turkeys seems to be a Republican tradition, as per Gerald Ford showing his recently pardoned turkey that he narrowly escaped becoming the main course in a Thanksgiving dinner:

Mark Steyn surmises the exercise was a masterful lesson in economics:

"When the government decides it can 'pick winners' and spare them from the realities of the market, everyone else gets bled to death."

Digg!
