Obama, when running for re-election, whined that he was allegedly bullied b/c of his big ears, from March 10, 2011 CBS News report "Obama: I was bullied for my big ears" with this rather prescient quote:
"'As adults, we all remember what it was like to see kids picked on in the hallways or in the schoolyard,' he said."This quote implies Obama was always a bystander and never bravely intervened to defend victims of bullying, which explains how he runs US foreign policy today. Most lefty cartoonists dutifully laid off our thin skinned POTUS and eschewed graphically teasing him in any way. However, as of late, artists are lampooning his big donkey ears:

This is good, b/c as Newsweek Evan Thomas points out in Ken Burns recent documentary about the Roosevelts, it's bad for US presidents to have a cult of personality built up around them, at least if they're Republican:
MRC Kyle Drennen points out PBS's anti TR bias in his 9/16/2014 article "PBS Doc: Teddy Roosevelt An 'Imperialist' 'Killer' Who Glorified War" and includes a transcript of above clip:
"THOMAS: He comes back from war and he senses that he is what America wants to be. Out of Roosevelt's self-importance, but also fed by a real adulation, there emerges a kind of cult of Roosevelt. People simply worshiped this guy in a cowboy hat, this easterner who had become a westerner"
