Saint Thérèse of LisieuxReligious and Doctor of the Church ( ✝️ 1897 Anno Domini A.D.) Feast 1 October
This little saint lived in our own times. She was a little French girl named Theresa Martin. Even as a little girl, she wanted to belong to God alone. Since people said, "You are too young," she asked the Pope ♗ to let her be a sister. So she entered the convent when still a child ⛪ . She joined the Carmelites. She said, "I just want to love 💗 God. I want to do hard things for Him. I want to pray 🙏 for priests and for sinners. I want to shine like a little candle 🕯️ before His altar."
Almost nobody knew about this little girl. But the minute she died, all the world seemed to hear about her. They read her story and loved her 📖. Soldiers chose her as their patroness. She became the saint of French aviators 🛩️ . Priests asked her to take care of them. Catholic missions were helped with her prayers. Before she died, she said: "After death, I will drop down from Heaven a shower of roses 🌹 🌹 🌹 ." She did just that. Theresa, the Little Flower of Jesus, has filled the world with her miracles.
