What to do when you can't find a good seat at a restaurant: stab people

I suspect Miss Manners would not approve of the strategy perennial Perry Mason villain, John Hoyt, employed in the "The Black Castle" of stabbing people with a sword in order to get a better seat at a restaurant:

Sir Ronald Burton, alias Richard Beckett: I can condone poor swordsmanship but not bad manners. Gentlemen, Mr. Fender will accept your apologies

ott it's not surprising that poor Mr. Hoyt was cast as the villainous Prof. Samuel Langley in "The Winds of Kitty Hawk" biopic of the Wright brothers. However, apparently being typecast as the bad guy seems to have provided Hoyt with job security throughout his life.
