Muchos gracias to DP&L for the
ice, but I still don't see how a few thunderstorms can take down an entire grid for so long. Many moons ago, when I lived in Pennsylvania Dutch country, we'd have outages for about a day, at most, before power was restored. I don't want to seem a whiner & I appreciate that our pilgrim & pioneer forefathers stoicly lasted centuries without electricty, but I thought our technology for pinpointing & correcting problems would have advanced by now. I better stop whining, now, otherwise I'll morph into an occupy wall street hooligan....
