An enemy combatant by any other name is just as hostile

Or, at least, should be considered to be so, argues Mark Steyn, who opposes the left's desire to deconstruct language:

the loss of accepted language - that "wars" are "won" by "defeating" "enemies" - is a big part of the problem.

The Orwellian Obamian euphemism "Man-Caused Disaster" is not at all encouraging.
