Letter to US Senator in opposition to Impeachment of POTUS Trump

 I received a letter from US Senator Toomey ( Republican - Pennsylvania ) with respect to irregularities in the 2020 General Election.

Here is the text of the letter I sent as a reply to his reply with respect to the impeachment trial against President Trump:

Senator Toomey:

 

Your letter asserts: "As a result of the ensuing violence, several people died" Three people died due to medical emergencies, a stroke and a heart attack.1

 

There seems to be conflicting information with respect to the death of Brian Sicknick which was  described in your letter: "who succumbed to his injuries after being struck in the head while he tried to help regain control of the Capitol." There seems to be no forensic evidence that Mr Sicknick suffered any blunt force trauma  2 and his police union ascribed his death to a stroke 3.

 

The only person who was violently killed was former Obama voter turned President Trump supporter, Ashli Babbitt. The people who are on video breaking the window Miss Babbitt climbed through and egging her on, were not shot and were able to walk past police without being arrested, which seems odd. 4 

 

Ascribing the rioting and violence to genuine President Trump supporters is quite possibly inaccurate. Rep Gohmert asserts that leftwing groups infiltrated President Trump's crowd as alleged agent provocateurs.5

 

I'm concerned that the ultimate goal of the impeachment against President Trump is not just to marginalize him in the future of the Republican Party, but that certain people in media and government wish to advocate criminalizing all of his supporters, including Senator Hawley and Senator Cruz 6 to the point of treating President Trump supporters like Al Qaeda and drone striking them.7

 

Your letter stated that you support "the men and women of our armed forces". I hope the US Senate will ensure that the Biden administration does not implement religious discrimination against service members. Reportedly, Biden 's DoD is classifying the Celtic cross and Saint Michael as symbols of "hate" 8 which seems to discriminate against Christians in general, and Catholics, in particular.

 

As your colleague, Senator Rand Paul implied, voting to impeach President Trump will allow Democrats to rationalize criminalizing speech, primarily from Republicans.9 I hope the US Senate will work to defend the Constitutional rights of all US citizens moving forward, because the threats of retaliation against Republican voters from your Democrat colleagues, and some Republican pundits, are disconcerting.
